Listening microphone blocks after a while
« on: May 05, 2022, 09:27:00 AM »
Hello,
For the past one or two days, Voiceattack no longer captures the micro sounds untimely.
I have not identified manipulation or particular use that causes this.
But the voice commands do not run and the potentiometer bar no longer moves.
The other VA commands work well: mouse, keyboard or joysticks.
It is necessary to restart will go so that the microphone captures the sounds again.
Note that the microphone works properly for other programs (for example speechux).
I use the latest beta version of VA, in administrator mode.
My Windows is: Windows 10 Professional for work stations, 21:10 a.m. from 13/08/2020, Build 19043.1682.
Do you have an idea or is it a bug identified?
Thank you in advance for your answer and your help.
Cordially.
Edgar

Unfortunately that would most likely mean the Microsoft speech recognition engine is not working correctly.

You can try creating a new speech recognition profile, as detailed here.

Hello Pfeil,
Thank you for your response and solution track.
It is certainly a farce of the Gremlins as said by Gary ;-)
I will try it all.
Best regards.
