Mass update grayed out in say something
« on: September 28, 2020, 08:25:27 AM »
In the say something with text, the mass update is grayed out. Is that by design or a glitch.
Using beta 1.8.6.12

That option is only available when you're editing an existing action (not adding a new one), and when an option that can be mass-updated is changed.

These options can be mass-updated:
  • "Voice"
  • "Channel"
  • "Volume"
  • "Rate"

However, only the former two will enable the "Mass update" checkbox.

I was trying to mass update volume for the whole profile it will not let me do it. I opened the first one and tried to change the volume on all the others but it is grayed out.

  • "Channel"
  • "Volume"
  • "Rate"

However, only the former two will enable the "Mass update" checkbox.

You need to change either the "Voice" or "Channel" option to enable the "Mass update" checkbox, after which you can return that option to its previous setting (the "Mass update" checkbox will remain enabled), and change the "Volume" and/or "Rate" settings, which will be included in the list of items to update if you click "OK" with the "Mass update" checkbox checked.

This turned out to be a bug - the volume and rate controls got excluded from the mass update check when changed.  This has been fixed and will be in the next update.

Thanks, guys!
