Installation Error "Error 87"

Hello,

I downloaded the trial version 1.6.1 and tried to install it on my machine running Windows 10 (14393.576). I am getting this error before I can do anything else.

Unable to execute file in the temporary directory. Setup aborted.
Error 87: The parameter is incorrect.

I've tried a couple of things, no luck.

1. Run the EXE as administrator
2. Set the temp directory to a new location (where I have full and read/write access)

No luck with any of that.

Any ideas? I'd really like to give the software a try.

You can use the zipped version without an installer.

If you do have an issue with your temp directory, you should check the permissions on that folder for "Everyone", not just your user account. If programs lose access to it they may not function properly, or at all, as you've noticed.
