v1 > v2 question

Just to be clear, if you have a purchaced v1 voice attack and have been using it for years we have to pay AGAIN to update to v2?

Yes - version 2 is a separate purchase from VoiceAttack version 1. I had to retire version 1 after 16 years, and replace it with a current framework (which is not fully compatible as an update to v1). Note that version 1 will always remain available and can continue to be used for as long as you want.
