Suggestions for a disabled gamer
« on: December 17, 2024, 03:53:39 PM »
I am a disabled quadriplegic gamer (I have no control over my hands or arms) and I'd like more suggestions for me to game with using the Voice Attack. I currently use the Jouse+ to control my laptop and game.

What input methods do you have?  Or is it just joystick and voice?

Asphalt 8 airborne is free to play. If you have an eye tracker with wink recognition I suppose you could use that for low latency drifting. (Disclaimer: I haven't played it in a long while, it was going down hill imho).  You'd probably like the newer Asphalt games better, but I'm against violence toward police. 🙄

I'm curious how do you operate a mouth joystick and speak voice commands? Or do I not want to know? How good is it for high speed games?

I can left and right click. I can also do wasd, space, e button but I can't press left and right click while gaming unfortunately. I use the Jouse+ which is a "gaming joystick" controlled by the mouth. I can't play high paced games but I would like to using VoiceAttack.
