Author Topic: VoiceAttack full version v1.10 Unable to run Viacom Pro after update  (Read 2653 times)

After installing update I get this message in the Voice Attack window, "UNABLE TO INVOKE PLUGIN, PLUGIN NOT AVAILABLE."  I switched back to the previous version and I still get the same message.  Can anyone help me out?

Hi, PsychoOne

You may need to reinstall the plugin if it's not working for either version.  Did you install VoiceAttack to the same directory it was located in previously?

Yes it was installed in the same directory.

Click the wrench icon on the main window; on the "General" tab of the VoiceAttack options window, is the "Apps Folder" path set to the "Apps" folder the VAICOM plugin subfolder is located in?

Also, which version did you update from, and are you using the Steam version?

And, are you running the latest version of the VAICOM plugin/profile?

I updated from the window that popped up when I started Voice Attack.  Trying your advise now.  Thank you.

Set the Apps folder to VIACOMPRO, didn't work, then changed it to VIACOMPRO/profiles and still didn't work.

It wouldn't, no. The "Apps Folder" path should be set to the path to the actual "Apps" folder within VoiceAttack's installation directory, not a subfolder.


I'll ask again: Are you using the Steam version? Have you tried updating the third-party VAICOM product using their installation procedure?
