Not Picking Up My Microphone

On Saturday Voice Attack picked up my mic as it was supposed to now on Thursday when I start Voice Attack it doesn't pick up my mic or any mic (I tried others). I have the correct mic selected in the audio tab and my mic's volume is turned up.  All other programs pick my mic up. Please Help.
