[Solved] Can't run VoiceAttack 1.7.0.8

Hello,

after the installation (installed "as admin") VoiceAttack 1.7.0.8 don't start.

Error Message (translated into english):
The admin blocked this app, please contact your admin to run this app.

I tried to start it with "run as admin", but it does not help.

Any suggestions?

My code signing certificate has been changed, and SmartScreen will attempt to block the application as the reputation level is not very high yet.  I searched and found this:  https://www.wiknix.com/solved-this-app-has-been-blocked-for-your-protection/

Let me know if that does or does not work.  You may have to roll back to the previous version.

I've done all steps, with exception of disabling the administrator account. I can't run VoiceAttack in the another User (with admin rights too).

So I will rollback to a previous version.

With the User "Administrator" I can run it.

I could solve the issue.

I run the cmd with admin right and start VoiceAttack.exe in it. => VoiceAttack starts and works. :)

PS: Sorry for my bad english.  :(

I also tried to install the beta 1.7.0.8 as well and was unable to use the fix you posted. I had to roll it back but first I had to uninstall it to get 1.7 to work again.

Ok I was able to get it install by using adm to run the installer and it loaded and open program when it finished installing, and it seemed to work fine. But when I closed the program and tried to open it again it was blocked.
and the fix still is not working.

You tried to start the VoiceAttack.exe with CMD Console (start the CMD Console with admin rights)?

Thanks for the advice.
It turns out that I was having trouble switching to C:\windows\system32 directory for some reason. Once I was able to do that it work just like it is was suppose to.

But it will not elevate to adm mode, the error returns when I tried. Not sure if that is going to be a problem or not.

At some point today, Windows Defender, 'SmartScreen' has stopped blocking the VoiceAttack installer.  I've been able to install on different versions of Windows on different machines without issue (Win 7, Win 10 pre and post creator's update).  Is it possible to try downloading again to see if that makes any difference?

It is now being install without being blocked.
It however is being blocked if you try to run it in adm mode.
Not sure if its necessary for the program to be in that mode anymore, or maybe it will resolve its self too at some point

Hey, guys.  Try getting the latest VA beta (v1.7.0.9) and see if that makes a difference.

Hey Gary,

I've installed the new 1.7.0.9. This version works on the usual way, without CMD etc.. :)
Thank you for this update (and all other patches too, for sure!).
