Profile for Silent Hunter 5

Hi,
I'm new to the forums, so sorry if this has been asked already.
I've been using Voice Attack with Elite Dangerous and it's excellent, but I want to try it with other games.
Does anyone have, or know of a Profile for Silent Hunter 5 ?
Any help would be great. Thanks.

It's not much at all, but I have a tiny profile that does nothing but press a few of the basic movement keys(attached).

There is a voice recognition mod for Silent Hunter 5, though I'm not sure how well it works(it appears to be an older project).

Hi,
Thank you for the small profile. I will give it a go. It's just that I am hopeless at trying to create a profile by myself.
I've tried all the voice recognition mods on SubSim, and can't get any of them to work.
I would much rather use Voice Attack anyway. It's great utility that works really well & I use on Elite Dangerous.
I'll let you know how I get on, but still on the look out for a more complete profile if possible.

Hi,
I used your small 'Silent Hunter 5 Profile' & used it as a base for a profile of my own with more commands'
I have it working very well. I just have one issue which I'm having trouble with.
I'm trying to set up a new command for 'Rudder Amidships'.
When I say Rudder Amidships it should then do the following to execute the command.
Press 'NumPad 0 key and hold for 0.06 and release
The issue is that for this to work, I've found out that 'NumLock' has to be on before the command will execute.
I can't seem to be able to setup the 'NumLock' and NumPad 0' for the command. Also the 'NumLock' would need to be used at end of the command to switch it off again.
I would be much obliged if you could help me with this.
Also do you know how I could upload my finished profile to share it with other users ?

Does NumLock not toggle if you put it in a keypress?

E.G.

Code: [Select]

Press Num Lock key and hold for 0,01 seconds and release
Press NumPad 0 key and hold for 0,01 seconds and release
Press Num Lock key and hold for 0,01 seconds and release

You may need to increase the hold times, or add pauses between keypresses.

Also do you know how I could upload my finished profile to share it with other users ?

You can make a new topic in the Profile Uploads section.

Export your profile, click "Attachments and other options" near the bottom of the "Start new topic" page, click "Browse...", select your exported profile .vap and click "Open". When you click "Post" your new topic will be created, and the file will be uploaded with it.

Thanks for your help. I was able to finish the profile and tested it over last couple of days.
I'm also obliged for you help on how to upload it. This I have done.

Hello,

I know this is super old post, but I am struggling to find a solution for my issue.

I've used SH5 and VA successfully before, but today I went full hog and installed the TWoS v2.2.24 and now VA cannot send commands to SH5 and I have tried direct to .exe and active application.

If there is a solution anyone knows of I would be very greatful.
