VoiceAttack profiles aren't inherently specific to any one user or microphone.

Creating a new speech recognition profile (which is unrelated to VoiceAttack profiles; the former is a feature of the Microsoft speech recognition system) is generally recommended though.
Instructions for doing so can be found here

Hello Pfeil,
I have got my new headset setup and working just fine. I then have went through Windows Speech Training 6 times.
But when I run Voice Attack and try to use the 'Protocol Override Customise My Settings' command it will not recognise
the 'Override' part of the command, just gibberish.
The odd thing is that when I install a HCS Voice Pack and choose that profile for Elite Dangerous into Voice Attack It allows me to use the command 'Protocol Override Customise My Settings' without any issues, first time every time.
All I want to be able to do is to use the command in Voice Attack without a voice pack installed'
I need to be able to do this for my custom keybinds I made in Elite Dangerous.
Is there anyway around this (key shortcut or something) otherwise I will not be able to use Voice Attack properly.
Hope you can oblige and help me.
Thanks.

Hello Pfeil,
PLEASE IGNORE ABOVE POST.
I have found the solution. I was trying to go by older version of Voice Attack.
I've now got the latest version and it is slightly different than I was used to.
All is good now. Sorry for the bother.
Thanks anyway.
