Passing variable keypresses

Is it possible to have the "hold down for" field within the "Keypress" function reference a variable or token? I know that VA employs "variable keypress," but is there a way to command a variable keypress hold down time?
Thanks!

The only way to currently do that is do a variable key press DOWN, then a variable pause and then a variable key release.
