Hard point Command for Elite Dangerous

I compiled a test profile for hard points, just to see if I could. Clearly I don't understand how this works yet.
I am unable to get it to work correctly. I am trying to deploy them, have the command keep track of which hard point is deployed and to recognize the device that is assigned to that hard point and switch back and forth between them. I would like it operate like the side panels do.
