va always sets the mic volume to 100% regardless of the current windows setting

oh now that is interesting. I've never had to set the mic volume before and was doing this because of my kb clicking getting recognised. I set the mic with the windows mic setup prog just before training it. I'll wipe my training and lower the mic settings manually, this could just solve all my problems

well I'm lost now. Windows mic setup is well in the green but still sets the mic volume at 100%

Do you happen to have any of the new audio level actions in a command that is executing?  Probably not, but I just thought I'd throw that out there.  Other -> Windows -> Set Audio Level

no I haven't atm. I was thinking of doing it which is how I came across the 100% volume issue
