Execute a command prior to profile switching or app shutdown
« on: October 10, 2016, 11:40:35 AM »
In addition to having a profile option to execute a command after the profile is loaded, I think it would be useful to have an option to execute a command prior to switching profiles or app shutdown.

For example, a one-stop profile variable/state save command.

Thoughts?

EDIT by Pfeil: The "Execute a command each time this profile is loaded" and "Execute a command each time this profile is unloaded" options provide the requested functionality.

Would be worth considering.  What kind of things would you be doing with that?

My main use would be to have a one-stop 'save variables to profile' command.

I'm presently working on integrating my HCS Verity voice pack profile with EDDI 2.0's new event-driven functionality. Having to go through the hundreds of HCS commands to set persistence on a handful of variables is arduous at best.
