Play Random Sound does not seem to use set volume sometimes.

Play random sound (from directory: {VA_SOUNDS}\Malic Profile\Final Fantasy 14\Start Quest Sounds - suppress repeat)

I have tried turning suppress repeat on and off.  Sometimes it will play the volume at the volume I set on the next screen, it is random on which sound effect it is quiet on, but as I have it play during mission pickup/dropoff in Elite it is harder to trigger it live.  I think it is only doing it once every 4 times, because I only have 4 sounds in there, so mayhap only on the first or last of the cycle?

Have you tried manually triggering a command with that action configured the same way?


What file type are the sounds you're playing?

Can you clarify what appears to be happening? Do the sounds usually play at the volume you've set, but sometimes they're louder? Or is it that sometimes they're less loud than you've configured?

Does this happen only with the specific set of sounds you've mentioned?
