I keep trying to train the voice recognition but it keeps pausing mid sentence.

Hi, there

That is going to mean there is something going on in your setup somewhere, from your speech profile to drivers to possibly corrupt components.

First, I would suggest restarting your PC (not shutting down, but restarting).  This sometimes solves a myriad of issues.  Try your speech training again.

After that, you'll want to make sure your drivers for your microphone are up to date.

Next, you'll want to look at this thread (ignore the title):  https://forum.voiceattack.com/smf/index.php?topic=64.0
It could be a bad speech profile.  See if that helps at all.

From there you'll want to try a system file scan to see if that helps:  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/use-the-system-file-checker-tool-to-repair-missing-or-corrupted-system-files-79aa86cb-ca52-166a-92a3-966e85d4094e
Do both the DISM and sfc steps.  This is good to do from time to time, even if you do not suspect a problem with Windows.

From there, you'll need to contact Microsoft as that is their trainer, unfortunately.

Hope some of that helps!
