Two Joysticks in DCS
« on: April 17, 2022, 09:32:25 AM »
Hello, tried to search.

Manual helped to some degree.

Trying to run WinWing Super Taurus(ST) and Black Shark(BS) collective in DCS.  I want to use the ST for jets and BS for helos of course. I have assigned both controllers in the contollers section. The problem I'm having is when I set up the button press and release for one input device it changes the button TX1 etc globally.

What I would like is to retain TX1 being Joystick 1 button 14 when using the ST, and still have Joy 2 button 26 doing TX1 when using the BS.

How can I do this?

Thanks in advance.

I'll assume you're referring to a feature of the third-party VAICOM PRO addon, as "TX1" is not a term VoiceAttack uses natively.

A single command can be triggered using a single button (combination; combination meaning multiple buttons need to be pressed at the same time).

However, you can create a new command, set it up to be triggered by the other button (combination) you want to use, and have that command execute the original command using the "Execute Another Command" action.

In the majority of circumstances, that should be a feasible approach.
