I'm having this issue when running voiceattack.exe -command "text", where the "text" word will show up in voice attack twice, triggering a command twice as well.
Is this a bug, or there's a way to turn this behavior off?

That is not something I can replicate on my machine. Does this occur when you use a shortcut or command prompt to run the executable?
You mentioned a Python script that uses this feature, could it be running this twice?
