There isn't a great deal of information on Windows 11 despite the recent buggy launch event.

New dictation capabilities were mentioned. I had a fleeting thought perhaps this meant it came with an update/overhaul of the underlying speech engine. I'm guessing it's more the cloud/app services side.

That would be my guess as well.  I assume (hope) MS is pushing more towards their cognitive systems - their Azure stuff is very interesting.  Very next level stuff, amazing TTS via AI...  Here's hoping Win11 is more than just the GUI overhaul that it seems like so far.

I'm also curious about the new dictation capabilities in Windows 11. From what I've gathered, it seems like the focus might be more on cloud and app services integration rather than a complete overhaul of the speech engine itself.

 If you're still digging for more info, I suggest checking tech blogs or Microsoft's official updates.
Let me know if you find any updates on the speech engine or have more insights to share
