Allow in-place updating of plugins

Back when I was an avid user of mIRC (which I might be going back into, maybe looking at becoming a FuelRat), if one were to create a DLL for a script mIRC had a flag to allow the program to unload a DLL on command, which in turn allowed the DLL to be updated or deleted, etc. (Further info: https://www.mirc.com/help/html/index.html?dll.html)

I was wondering if it would be possible to add that functionality so that plugin authors have an upgrade/update path that does not require restarting Voice Attack proper.
