VA to SmartThings

I am drawn to the Samsung SmartThings and Hubitat platforms because they do not rely on external subscriptions or on access to the internet... UNLESS you want to use voice commands, at which point you are stuck inviting Google to live in your house.

Has anyone played with using VoiceAttack as a front end for triggering either a SmartThings or Hubitat hub?  (most notably the Hubitat...)

If any of those platforms you mentioned has a public API that can be accessed via C# or VB.NET then VA can interact with it via inline function or a plugin.
