I'm using VoiceAttack with Elite Dangerous and I started adding audio responses to my commands - first by using a TTS (text-to-speech) software to create audio files, then process them through audacity to create a "Ship AI" effect.
While this works, it's quite cumbersome. I then noticed that VoiceAttack has built in functionality to use TTS and also includes effects. Great, I thought!
However, the echo effect "Delay" parameter only accepts whole integers, therefore a delay of 1 is the smallest and it is too high to get a nice sounding "robotic" effect. In Audacity I am using a delay of 0.03 and a subtle reverb to apply a robotic effect to the voice.
It seems logical that the effect implementation can probably handle decimal figures. If so, could we get a decimal entry box instead of / or as well as a slider in order to add finer grained changes to the effects?
Thanks
