Text-to-speech clipping
« on: August 03, 2019, 01:12:36 PM »
Simplest possible command,
say, '60 seconds'

and what I hear is "seconds", not "60 seconds". It's the same for other strings, the first fraction of audio is clipped. Any ideas how to fix this?

Does this happen when you use text-to-speech without VoiceAttack?

Assuming you're running Windows 10 64bit, press Win-R and paste this into the "Open:" field:
Code: [Select]
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Speech\SpeechUX\sapi.cplThen click "OK" or press enter.

The "Speech Properties" window should open, so you can use the "Preview Voice" button on the "Text to Speech" tab to test this.

Do you have the "Audio Output Type" option on the "Audio" tab of the VoiceAttack options window set to "Integrated Components"?
