Currently, the inline function editor's "Wait for the inline function to finish before continuing" option and the "Execute an External Plugin Function"'s "Wait for the plugin to finish before continuing" option are always unchecked when the action is added, even within the same session.

The "Play a Sound", "Play a Random Sound", and "Say Something with Text-To-Speech" don't remember their equivalent options either.

Would it be feasible to have them remember their last state, like "Execute Another Command" does?

I've found the former two to be most relevant, as forgetting to check the option occasionally leads to race conditions.
If the option will not be remembered based on the last-used setting, perhaps these could be checked by default instead?
