NO DCS Radio audio

When VA is running I get no audio from the DCS radio comms.  For example, when I ask the ground crew to do something there is no audio for the pilot's request or for the crew's response.

I thought it was related to VIACOMM PRO, but it does it with any other profile as well.   

I can start DCS without VA running and I have audio. As soon as I start VA, I lose the comms menu related audio, all other audio is fine.  If I then close VA I will still have no audio, I have to restart DCS in order to get it back.

Have you tried disabling plugins? VoiceAttack itself doesn't do anything with audio unless it's explicitly set up to do so, and even then it shouldn't affect only only particular set of sounds.


To disable plugins, click , and on the "General" tab uncheck "Enable Plugin Support", click "OK" to save, then restart VoiceAttack.

Yep, that fixed it.  So, it is a VIACOM issue even if I use a different profile.
