How well does loading old profiles optimize?

There are lots of optimizations that VA makes over time, some of my older profiles are really slow, and still seem slow in the newly updated program.

Would it be better to remake the profile entirely in the new version or should the performance be about comparable?

The profile structure has not changed much since the beginning.  Some things have been added, but the overall structure remains the same.  You'll only see noticeable improvement when you're dealing with tens of thousands of commands.  Also, the recent massive speed increases are really only in the beta version (I think... I don't know... I just work here lol).  When you say your profiles are loading slow, how many derived commands are you talking about and what version of VA are you using?

So actually when I said loading slow I was jumping the gun a bit.  Maybe you remember my elite dangerous profile that tries to mimic natural speech so each command has hundreds if not thousands of derived commands.  I am noticing that the profile loads very quickly, its editting the commands where things get tricky.

Hmmm... I thought the profile editing speed thing had been resolved.  What version of VA are you running?

Current version, and while I was getting slow loads before, I cannot reproduce now....
