Text to Speech not always playing back.

So I've installed Neospeech's Kate, and while I can't get windows 10 to recognize her, VA does allow me to select her voice for TTS.
For some reason she will not always speak when prompted. The command is recognized and a follow up speak from the windows default TTS voice works, but Kate doesn't seem to always want to talk. It seems like 60% of the time she doesn't want to talk. Any ideas?

You might want to try the option, 'Single TTS Instance' on the System/Advanced tab of the Options screen.  That works for Cereproc voices... taking a chance it might help in your situation.

Excellent! Thanks Gary, this fixed the issue. Now to go figure out how to trick windows into accepting Kate as my default tts voice. XD

Awesome!  Thanks for letting me know.  When you select a Neospeech voice from the list, does the word, 'Neospeech' show up anywhere in the name?  If so, I can use that to provide a warning to users (just like Cereproc).

Both Neospeech voices I've used were marked as: VW <Name>
