Getting Plugin not valid for this version

Using a v3 plugin with VA 1.6.1

If I start VA and speak one of the phrases I have tied to my plugin, everything's fine. If I edit a profile, whether or not I actually make a change, I start receiving:

UNABLE TO INVOKE PLUGIN. PLUGIN NOT VALID FOR THIS VERSION OF VOICEATTACK.

until I restart VA.
