Weird, I've had VA running for a good couple of hours now....I disabled the joysticks within VA (X-56 Rhino) and it seems to have solved the issue....it's strange because I had them enabled in VA prior to having to do a windows 10 reinstall.

The ntdll.dll file having issues has come up recently: http://voiceattack.com/smf/index.php?topic=764.msg3827#msg3827

There's no real solution given, but it's a somewhat known problem.  Not sure how to fix it yet ;)

Left my computer on all night, VA still running this morning, so disabling the joysticks seems to be the workaround for me.

Although I notice that the X-56 software is running in the background on this windows build, where I never used to run it previously, so maybe there is a clash there.
