Get "Improper Shutdown" dialog every time I start VoiceAttack

This is a continuation of the thread by same name in the Ex-Issues forum. I'm having the exact same problem as described there. That is, I get the "improper shutdown" message every time I start VA no matter what. But the unofficial binary fix that is referenced in that thread does not work for me at all. It gives an error message "This app can't run on your PC. To find a version for your PC, contact the software publisher." This after dropping it in as a replacement for the voiceattack.exe executable. I'm running on Windows 10 64 bit version.

There have been more updates that will be in the next beta.  Hoping to put that out tomorrow.  Sorry about that!
