Adding Description To Log When Triggered
« on: July 27, 2023, 05:58:07 PM »
I'm not really sure, but I think long ago I remember that if I put something in the "Description" of a command, that it appeared as part of the log we see during normal command execution. Was this actually the case? I'm not sure. Now though, I'm sure that the description does not display. My normal description is just the key binding it sends (sort of a reminder).

Is there a simple way to have the description field also appear in addition to the phrase which triggered the command?

The "Description" field has never been written to the log, no.

You can add a "Write a Value to the Event Log" action to your commands with the same value, but you'd need to copy that value to it manually for each individual command.
