Global command edits?
« on: July 09, 2023, 01:33:03 PM »
Sorry to pile on; I do have one more question. I use VA for MSFS 2020. I have about 100 unique commands. Each command requires VA to target the Flight Simulator Window. Each time Microsoft updates FS, the Window name changes due to the version changing. I must go into each command and paste the new target into the command line. Can I globally change a line where I can make one sweeping change instead of 100-plus edits?

Thanks.

Press F1 while VoiceAttack has focus to open VoiceAttackHelp.pdf in your default PDF viewer, which contains information on VoiceAttack's features.

Command-level targeting is intended to override profile-level targeting. In most circumstances you'd want to use the latter.

Commands can be multi-edited, including targeting settings.

Targeting can be done using wildcards to account for changing window titles. Targeting can also be performed using a process name, which would then not be dependent on a window title.
