Keyboard recognition not excluding CTRL - ALT - Shift
« on: January 06, 2023, 05:53:32 AM »
Hi there,
I'm new to voiceattack, and I think I got an issue with excluding the shift, alt and ctrl in my commands.
For demonstration I build up a new profile. There I created 4 Commands with the key-combinations e, shift-e, ctrl-e, and alt-e. Everytime I press the combinations alt, ctrl or shift together with the e key, the command for the solo e key also is executing. I need to exclude shift, alt and ctrl by IF-Then statements.

Why?

I excluded them already by "not including" them in the command shortcut.

It would be nice if there would an option for an "explicit key usage" in creating the command shortcut.

That is what the "Shortcut is invoked only when all keys are released" option is intended for.

... I tried that, but still the same issue  :-[

.... sorry ... I take all back.

I only triggered this option for the "solo - e - key", I ALSO! need to trigger it for all  the combinations! ... you need to know that ...

You'd need to enable that on all of those commands.
