MSFS agent plugin

I've followed James Clark's document.  This can't be this difficult...

• msfs-agent in C:/Program Files/VoiceAttack/Apps  <--- internal scripts indicate that this should be MSFSAgent without the hyphen (tried both ways)
• Enable Plugin Support checked
• restart VA
• Plugin Manager is empty
• loaded the sample vap file,
• PLUGIN NOT AVAILABLE

What step did I miss?  (thanks)

In a previous topic you mentioned that you were using the Steam version of VoiceAttack, but the installation folder you mention is for the website version.

Are you putting files into the folder for the website version, but running the Steam version?

I'm not showing this in my Steam path, as I have C:\Program Files\VoiceAttack,  I think I bought both versions.  My shortcut points to this path.

Which version of VoiceAttack are you actively using? When you start VoiceAttack and click the wrench icon on the main window, does it mention "Steam" next to the version number in the Options window's titlebar at the top?

it does not show steam, it's 1.10.3, Steam does not launch

Does the "Apps Folder" path shown on the "General" tab of the VoiceAttack options window match the path you've copied the plugin folder to?

What are the contents of the "msfs-agent" folder?

attached,  unmodified from the github download, just did the zip  extraction

You have downloaded the source code, not the compiled plugin.

Delete the current folder, then download "MSFSAgent.zip" here.
