You haven't actually linked to the video you're referring to, but I would assume the intent is to hold down at least one of those keys.

Your keypress actions are using the "Press And Release Key(s)" option, which, as the name suggests, presses, and then releases the keys.

Holding down a key means not releasing it, so for that you'd want to use the "Press Key(s)" option.

Do note that any keys set up to be held like this will be held indefinitely, and must be released explicitly, E.G. by pressing and releasing the physical keys, using a keypress action with the "Release Key(s)" option, or by force-stopping all commands (E.G. using the button on VoiceAttack's main window), which will release any and all pressed keys as an emergency measure

This is the Youtube video I needed to refer to is as follows....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYRhtZzlIgY

it's early in the morning and I have to go to work.  I will try tonight again with just a KEY PRESS and not a KEY PRESS AND RELEASE.
But in this video he mentions and shows KEY PRESS AND RELEASE.  He could have this wrong or missed saying something! please watch the video and comment.  I am trying to fly DCS Apache (challenging!!) and need a certain cockpit with view angle out the cockpit so I can work cockpit and keep flying better.

Thankyou guys!!!!

That video does indeed show that the command would press and release the key, so if you have it set up as shown, that is the input VoiceAttack will perform.

Having a quick look in DCS, Right Ctrl + Numpad 0 toggles between using the numpad keys to swivel the view around the cockpit, or to snap to specific locations within it, which is what the command in the video apparently relies on.

That is a DCS feature. If it doesn't work in the AH-64, even when you manually press the physical keyboard keys, that is something you'd want to contact the developers of DCS about.

Just to clarify my needs, not meaning to offend.
I am wanting to, with VoiceAttack, call out a word invoking a snap view that holds while I work inside that view with buttons and switches for awhlie.  Then, when finished call out that same word to change back to original view and carry on.  Am I correct in this with and that Voice Attack command I sent line or lines?  Thank you very much for your time!

If you physically hold Right Ctrl and press Numpad 0, release both of those, then physically press Numpad 4, what happens?

If you do it again, what happens then?

VoiceAttack is sending the keypresses you're instructing it to send. Which effect those keypresses have is up to the target application.

Thanks for keeping up with me.

Tried the word "Flight" command and it went to the snap view I wanted (Rctrl+Num0...then Num4).  I invoked the word "Flight" again and was supposed to snap back off it didn't.  Then it did something weird.... it took off on it's own running through other snap views on it's own, with out me touching or saying anything, including ones that Rctrl+Num0 (by it's self) would cause, turning the Numpad into arrows spinning the view around the cockpit (with out me touching anything).  WOW! It sounds like I am making this stuff up when I read it. I am guessing DCS Apache has a bug concerning this being so new out?  Maybe I will take out all command words except just one "Flight" and see what it does.  Getting late and have to stop for now I'll try tomorrow.
