Help - Voice Attack can't hear me
« on: May 21, 2021, 09:16:50 AM »
I've tested windows with Voice Recorder app and I can hear my voice being recorded in playback. I looked at VA's settings and Voice Recognition isn't disabled and the mic seems set to the correct one. Any ideas please?
Thank you

PS. VA said to set it to Integrated Devices so I did that. I'm using this for Elite Dangerous with Shatner Orion voicepack with "Singularity" selected as the Profile.

In your guide..  'Disable Acoustic Echo Cancellation' on the "Recognition" tab seems to fix the issue without even restarting VA.
 Thank you.

Not OP but I came here to say the same thing. Voice attack wouldn't recognize any voice activity, even though windows would as per the sounds control panel and mic tests.

Just wanted to say the "Disable Acoustic Echo Cancellation" Immediately worked. Thanks ntblood!
Reenabled just to double check and it is this setting that kills the app.
