Astra not responding to affirmative reply

I have Astra installed as my #1 & Operations, Midnight and Alix filling out the other stations.  Periodically Astra will ask "May I speak Freely?" or "Can I have you undivided attention?" or various other questions.  No matter what response I give (OK, Yes, Please do, Go ahead, etc) Astra never responds or says anything further.  Any ideas on what I am missing?
