VoiceAttack don't start

When I try to start VoiceAttack (as administrator), and no window appears, I can see it active only with the task manager in background

If you right click on the task bar icon for VoiceAttack (at the bottom of your screen), you should see a menu item labeled, 'Relocate to primary display'.  Try clicking on that to see if VoiceAttack appears for you.

However I also noticed that in Task View it looks like this:

By default, the taskbar is at the bottom of your screen, it'll have the Windows logo/start button on the left hand side of it, and the clock on the right, and when you start an application an icon appears on it that you can click to switch to its window (or, clicking it while a window has focus will minimize that window).

Right-click that icon and choose "Relocate to Primary Display" in the menu that pops up

But I don't have any Voice Attack icons in the Taskbar

Was VoiceAttack starting correctly previously?

Do you have a VoiceAttackFault.txt file?

The first time I installed it, it said that it had not started correctly and made me configure CTRL + SHIFT, but after configuring it, it remained only in the background and no window appeared. Then I reinstalled it many times and it didn't even ask me for CTRL + SHIFT anymore, I always started it as administrator, and no, I don't have VoiceAttackFault.txt

Try running a system file scan.

No, nothing, because it does not crash, but remains in the background active

You could try removing the configuration files and the profile database (locations listed here), just in case

I deleted them every time I uninstalled VoiceAttack

Surprisingly, 1.7.5 starts, but not responding, at least you see the window

If you hold Ctrl and Shift while VoiceAttack is starting, does the "VoiceAttack Load Options dialog appear?

If so, try checking the first four options ("Disable speech recognition (this session only)", "Disable plugin support", "Disable joysticks", and "Disable profile initialization commands (this session only)", in the current version of VoiceAttack)

In the end I reset the computer and now everything works fine!
