choose where to open a program?
« on: June 27, 2020, 01:29:06 AM »
I'm using MPC-HC video player and want to open the same video on two different monitors. MPC-HC has the option to open more than one but they all open on the same monitor.  I was wondering if we have the ability to open a program on any monitor we want?

Now cloning the monitors does work but the normal programs I would have on the two monitors doubles if they are cloned, I'd rather avoid that if I can.  Only other option I can think of is to buy another monitor for those programs, like to avoid that also.

Kind of a weird question but thanks to anyone that responds.

You can move a window to another monitor using the "Perform a Window Function" action, which can be done after using the "Run an Application" action to start it, as suggested in this topic.

Ok, that seems to work. Not as seamless as I'd like. They have to open with a delay but its better than nothing.

thanks
