Voice Attack doesn't even launch

I have used VA a long time, but today it didn't load when I started windows.  If I manually double-click the .exe, the cursor spins for a second and nothing happens.  There is no error message, just nothing happens.

I wish I could provide more info, but that's about it.  Any idea what could cause this?

Hey, sepp.  It could be that your user.config for VoiceAttack has gotten out of sorts. This update of VA isn't as nice about it as the previous version.  This thread should get you on your way again:

The next version of VA (v1.7.7) will be nice again and let you delete your borked user.config (hoping to get that out tonight or tomorrow).

Wonderful software btw.  I don't know what I'd do without it.
