VA and Discord
« on: April 03, 2019, 04:14:25 PM »
Hi guys,
I am new to VA, this program is very nice and useful - I already love it.
My problem:
The things I speak into the mic are recognized perfectly BUT are also sent through to Discord so that my mates are listening to the commands that are actually only intended for VA.
Is there an option to turn that off?

Thx in advance,

Virtual_Fabi

You'd have to use push-to-mute on the Discord side: https://support.discordapp.com/hc/en-us/articles/217083547-How-do-I-add-different-Keybinds-

You could also set up VoiceAttack for push-to-talk at the same time, so it doesn't try to recognize commands while you're speaking normally.

Servus Pfeil!

I am already using push to talk in VA, but the idea of also using a push to mute in discord sounds logic to me, never thought about that option.
Big thanks for the help - gonna try that tonight,

Edit: Push-to-mute Works like a charm - thx again!
