VA can't set joystick key

Hello All,
I have just purchased a Logitech x-56 and can't seem to get VA to set a button for voice recognition. Seems the mode switch acts as a key. Does anyone else have this problem and if so how did you solve it?

Hi, Ross.

Have you done the steps to assign your stick and enable it?  If you have done so, what happens when you use the, 'test' feature on the joystick options page?

Aha - thanks for pointing out my joystick needed to be enabled.
I was having the same issue so dug deeper and found what I needed to do...
