VA recognise commands even when I m not talking
« on: September 05, 2018, 01:14:00 PM »
Good day,
I playing using headset and a desktop mike on DCS. Even when I do not speak I have random commands "recognized" mainly numbers. That was working fine for about a year, now it is barely usable. Checked sound levels, retrained voice footprint...Win10 latest and greatest of course.

Examples below:
21:05:30 - Unrecognized : '900'
21:05:27 - Unrecognized : '909 100'
21:04:40 - 'neuve' recognized, but rejected with confidence level 82/85.
21:04:35 - Unrecognized : '900'
21:04:22 - Unrecognized : '100'
21:04:15 - 'neuve' recognized, but rejected with confidence level 77/85.
21:04:12 - 'sortie' recognized, but rejected with confidence level 75/85.
21:04:11 - Unrecognized : '109 100'

Many thanks.
Cheers.

Looks like you've got some line noise on your system.  You'll want to take a look at this thread which has a lot of suggestions in it:

Hope that helps!

The issue is indeed related to the MIC. It is a logitech Mic, with a stand and USB connection.
This mis is highly sensitive, so I had to turn down "volume" for the recording from 100% to 45%.

Just joystick friction was causing sufficient noise for the speed reco to trigger bulls#|+.

Thanks.
