Can VA refresh a window?
« on: July 10, 2018, 04:16:16 PM »
Im using VR for ETS2,  have a map window pinned within my environment. Some time I notice the map is no longer updating. All I need to do is refresh the window [F5], but I don't want to leave the VR environment. Is this possible using VA.

Step 2. Once the map is refreshed it zooms in too much and needs a mouse/wheel scroll to scale correctly, can this be done too?

If the map is a normal window, this should be possible. However, depending on the behavior of ETS2 when it loses focus, you may notice sound dropout(if the game mutes sound on focus loss), or the picture freezing(if the game pauses/stops drawing on focus loss). In VR this behavior may be different still.

If you set the "Send command to this target" option of your command to your map window, any keypresses you send should apply to that.

For the scrollwheel, you may need to move the mouse cursor over the window before the scrolling will be registered.
