VA not detecting any input from microphone

Hi All,
    I recently installed VA and my mic is not being picked up. I have tried selecting it as default, using the control panel to set it as voice recognition default and closed sonic studio 3, but no luck. I am trying to use my VR mic. I also tried using a headset mic but that did not work as well. Thanks for your help.

Hi, Evo.

You mentioned Sonic, so my first suggestion would be to try going into the options screen and check the box labeled, 'Disable Acoustic Echo Cancellation' and restart VA.
