Automatic indentation for the Inline Function editor

In v1.6.9.25, the Inline Function editor has seen some nice improvements to usability, which are really appreciated

One feature that would improve usability even further is automatic indentation, where the editor will automatically insert tabs when enter/return is pressed to add a new line so that the cursor remains at the same level of indentation.

I put some basic indentation in.  It's not VS, but better than just going to the beginning of the column

Looks good, your description is on point; It can be tripped up, but it's much more convenient than not having it(especially at deeper levels of indentation).
