Windows 7 Home Edition - Alternate Speech Engines
« on: January 26, 2018, 09:36:07 AM »
Hello,

I have the known problem of not being english and I don't have access to Windows (7 home Edition) Voice Recognition.

I already completed all this steps: http://voiceattack.com/alternate.aspx

I didn't understand something tough. Can I use VA only with the programs you guys mention in the link above or do I need to install another Speech Engine?

And If I need to install one, what do you guys recommend?

PS: Sorry about the english

After you've installed the Microsoft Speech Platform Runtime and a Speech Recognition Engine from this list, VoiceAttack should work.

If your Windows installation did not come with a built-in Speech Recognition Engine, the link you're referring to is the only alternative.
