wait completes all other currently-playing sound before play.
« on: December 22, 2017, 09:52:33 AM »
Hello,
i have several commands could play audio or text-to-speech at same time.
It's a problem for me.
If i use "this completes all other...", it's really not nice.

The best could have a parameter in play audio and text-to-speech functions:

wait completes all other currently-playing sound before play.

I give you an example of my VoiceCommander for X-Plane:

i have an automatic command: When Cabin creww call cockpit, the co-pilot push the interphone button and answer "Yes cabin ?"

But the cabin call at any time...

And when they call, my copilot work and announce the steps of checklist.
So i must stop the sentence of the checklist for he can say "Yes cabin".
If not, he say the 2 sentences at same time.

So if i could program
"""" When cabin call, finish your sentence and then answer..."

Thank you very much for interest to my question if it could be possible to add simply.

Have a good day,

Guillaume

For audio files there's the "{STATE_AUDIOCOUNT}" token, but I don't believe there is one for TTS.

Technically this is a duplicate of this feature request, which in turn was a duplicate of this feature request.

That looks like it could be added without too much issue (famous last words).

I will add this to the backlog.
