Problems with updating

Hi Guys, I have had a play around with VA 1.57 and had it working. I have tried to update to new ver 1.69 but it gets halfway through the install and tells me Access is denied and closes. I am using win 10 Fall edition, have tried other vers but I can't seem to install any newer than 1.57. Had a trawl throught the forum but came up empty. Any help would very useful. Have tried install in news folders/drives and with old ver installed /uninstalled.

Have you tried uninstalling first from Control Panel?
