Star Trek Bridge Commander
« on: April 29, 2023, 10:19:01 AM »
Hi all,

Recently purchased Star Trek Bridge Commander from GoG.com - I originally had it with the Microsoft Sidewinder Voice controller waaaaaay back in the 90s.  Noticed there didn't seem to be a profile for it, so I've created one.  Has 70 commands so far, gone through all of the menus and done what I can - the tactical submenus seem a little hard to get to but it might well be that I create a v2 at some point but here's a good starter for 10.

Hope it brings you as much joy as it did me :)

.vap files need to be imported from VoiceAttack's GUI. Windows won't "know" what to do with this file type.

Click the icon on VoiceAttack's main window, choose "Import Profile", select the file you downloaded, and click "Open".

Note that .vap files only contain data on how to reconstruct a profile into VoiceAttack's profile database. After importing, the .vap file is not used at all, and can be moved, or even deleted if you don't foresee needing to import it again.
